Sculptural Installations

Vermont Village installations were built between the years 1991-2020. Many are activated by water that is gravity fed from a pond with sensors, valves, misters, and sprinklers controlling the flow. Though primarily constructed using hemlock wood sewn from fallen trees, some installations have been restored over time using pressurized wood and galvanized metal. Now, when an installation is rebuilt, moisture-resistant black locust wood is used.
